Manchester United remain in the picture to sign Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain despite not submitting an official bid yet reports Fabrizio Romano via Give Me Sport.
Over the past couple of weeks rumours suggested PSG turned down Man United opening bid for Ugarte as it fell short of their valuation.
Romano insists no official bid has been made thus far adding both clubs remain in talks.
PSG are reportedly waiting for Man United to decide how much they wish to spend on the 23-year-old midfielder. The Red Devils are focusing on signing a centre-back first meaning a bid for Ugarte may happen later.
Ugarte remains high on Man United list of targets for the summer with Romano noting they also share a good relationship with Ugarte agent.
