Enzo Fernandez shot in the 51st minute led to Albiceleste second goal. Lionel Messi stole it from him by deflecting it past the Canada goalie Maxime Crepeau.

Speaking with TyC after the game Messi said I told Enzo that it was not the intention to take the goal from him but I saw that the goalkeeper just lay down the ball was coming slowly and I deflected it a little.
