According to David Ornstein a tier-one source Wolverhampton Wanderers have deemed Arsenal opening bid for goalkeeper Dan Bentley 30 well below their valuation.
The offer was immediately rejected by Wolves as they want Arsenal to return with a higher bid.
The Gunners are looking to sign a goalkeeper and view him as third-choice at the club.
They have also made David Raya loan deal permanent but the need for a reliable No.3 remains. There is of course Aaron Ramsdale who is now the backup.
Bentley played in Arsenal Academy when he was just starting out and left at the age of 15.
