Manchester United have agreed not to sign any players from Ligue 1 side OGC Nice owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe until September 2025.
This arrangement follows UEFA decision to allow the Red Devils to participate in European competitions next season alongside their sister club.
UEFA rules had previously barred clubs with the same ownership from playing in the same competition creating a potential issue.
Despite allowing competition UEFA continue to maintain the rule that clubs cannot transfer players to each other until the stated deadline.
