Journalist Kieran Gill reports that Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia have both reported back to the pre-season with Chelsea earlier than required.
The Blues players who are not involved at the Euros and Copa America are expected to be back next Monday but Fofana and Lavia are back at the club on Thursday.
The Frenchman spent the whole last season on the sidelines after suffering an ACL injury last summer. The Belgian made a single appearance last term having sustained an injury shortly after joining the club in August last year. Both players have now put themselves in a position to be integrated back into training.
Enzo Maresca has officially started working with the Blues on July 1.
