It has been weeks since Manchester United agreed personal terms with Jarrad Branthwaite.
However they are stuck in negotiations with Everton who have refused to lower their 70million asking price.
The Red Devils do not want to be overcharged. They have not made another bid since their 35million bid was rejected.
According to the latest update from Fabrizio Romano via Give Me Sport Everton are willing to lower their price tag to 65 million which is still expensive.
Reporters believe Man United will still not meet their asking price and are willing to wait for a better option.
Therefore the whole situation is stagnant although Branthwaite wants to move to Old Trafford. Unless Everton drastically reduce their demands or force the 22-year-old to force the transfer that may not change.
