It was reported earlier this week that Chelsea are keen on signing Kieran Dewsbury-Hall. Leicester turned down the first offer but there is a chance the Blues will come back for the midfielder.
The Athletic report that there are several reasons why Chelsea are after the Englishman.
The first is that the 25-year-old is genuinely a good player who contributed to 29% of all Leicester goals last season either through scoring or assisting.
The second reason is that he worked with Enzo Maresca so he knows the demands of the new Blues head coach and would fit into his system.
The third reason is Dewsbury-Hall ability to play between the lines. Chelsea lack a midfielder who connects the defence and attack and the Englishman offers precisely that.
