Manchester United are in the process of adding Go Ahead Eagles manager Rene Hake to their coaching staff in a significant boost for Erik ten Hag reports Fabrizio Romano.
The club are currently negotiating the final terms of Ten Hag new contract. Once that finalised they will announce the new additions to his coaching staff.
In addition to Hake 52 Man United are also set to appoint Ruud van Nistelrooy to work specifically with the strikers.
Hake led Go Ahead Eagles to a ninth-place finish in the Eredivisie last season their best campaign in more than a decade.
Ten Hag and Hake worked together at FC Twente and share the same coaching philosophy.
