Asked about his thoughts on Man United manager Erik ten Hag Sir Jim Ratcliffe said at a recent event that we kept Erik ten Hag because he was a good coach.
He did well at Ajax this guy is everything and probably in Ferguson era. We have had a series of good coaches since then and no one has succeeded.
Ratcliffe seems to enjoy Ten Hag job as United manager so far which is why he chose to keep him in that position and reportedly offered him a new contract.
He may be disappointed to see how Ten Hag was able to lead his side to victory in the FA Cup at the end of last season.
The Dutchman has not yet signed a new contract but is likely to do so before the Red Devils fly to the United States for their pre-season 2024 tour.
