Mikel Arteta does not appear to have any plans to add Albert Sambi Lokonga to his Arsenal squad next season.
According to Vamous Mi Sevilla the Gunners are in talks with Sevilla over a potential one-year loan move for the Belgian midfielder.
La Liga want to improve their midfield depth before the 2024/25 season and have identified Lokonga as a good option.
Sambi has spent the last two seasons on loan. He had a good 2023/24 campaign in Luton Town scoring one goal and three assists in 17 Premier League appearances.
But the 24-year-old has failed to realize his potential at Arsenal since joining the club in 2021. He has made just 39 appearances for the Gunners and looks set to have no future at Arteta.
