David Ornstein reports that Aston Villa and Chelsea have reached an agreement over the transfer of Ian Maatsen.

The Birmingham-based club have agreed a fee in excess of 35 million. That amount is in his release clause in his Dortmund loan deal and has now expired.

The 22-year-old has already agreed personal terms with Villa on a six-year deal.

Maatsen has been at Chelsea since the age of 16. He was sent off on loan making just 16 appearances for the Blues.
