The Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Joshua Zirkzee intends to stay in Italy despite leaving Bologna and is not happy about moving to England.
This comes almost 24 hours after The Athletic claimed that Manchester United were in talks with Zirkzee agents over a transfer.
Although the Red Devils have not yet approached Bologna directly Zirkzee is considered a viable option as the terms of his release are around 40 million.
AC Milan are also interested in signing him and have a better chance given his preference for the position but negotiations have stalled due to the high commissions of his agent.
Zirkzee 23 is reportedly believed to have settled well in Italy and sees no reason for a major change at this time.
