Over the past week it has been speculated that Arsenal are interested in signing Amadou Onana from Everton.
With Thomas Partey likely to leave this summer the Gunners need a midfielder with similar skills. Onana really deserves that bill.
According to Fabrizio Romano via Give Me Sport Arsenal are highly critical of Onana and have been following him during his time at Everton until the end of 2023/24.
Although the Gunners have him on their priority target list Romano understands that there is no official approach.
Arsenal meanwhile have failed to sign Benjamin Sesko who has opted to sign a new contract with RB Leipzig instead.
