According to Football Insider Manchester United have decided that they are open to discussing a new contract with Bruno Fernandes.
Despite worries about the 30-year-old midfielder for a few months Bruno was finally able to get the improved contract he wanted.
The 29-year-old has two years left on his current contract which includes an option for a 12-month extension.
Bruno wants to stay but his only requirement is for a contract that reflects his status as captain. He is now not the highest paid player at the club even after being a reliable player for the past four years.
Fernandes is still the most creative player in Europe. He finished last season with 15 goals and 13 assists throughout the match.
