Diario Sport reports that Barcelona no longer consider Dani Olmo a transfer target.
Xavi was the driving force behind the club signing Leipzig when he led the Catalans. Hansi Flick thinks differently and asks the club to remove the Spanish player from their transfer list.
The reason is that the German coach wants a clear winger like Nico Williams.
Olmo is a graduate of La Masia but has never played a single game for the first team. At the age of 16 he took an unusual step and signed Dinamo Zagreb to get more playing time than he could get at Barca.
It worked and he developed into one of Europe best strikers. He made 33 appearances in Spain scoring eight goals. Barcelona have been tracking his development since 2018 when he was still playing in Croatia.
