Athletic reports that Real Madrid have decided to sign Joselu on a permanent transfer this summer.
The veteran striker is currently on loan from Espanyol. The Whites have a 1.5 million buyout clause in the deal which they will start now.
The 34-year-old has scored 16 goals in 47 appearances for Madrid this season including a hat-trick against Bayern in the Champions League semi-finals.
The Whites will wait until Espanyol end their season to officially announce the deal. The Catalan club are now in the Segunda play-offs and Madrid want to have as much respect for them as possible.
