Chelsea have confirmed the appointment of Sonia Bompastor as their women coach.
The Frenchwoman joined the Blues leaving Lyon where she worked for three years winning seven trophies including three league titles and the Champions League.
The 43-year-old replaces Emma Hayes who left the club earlier this month after 12 years. She will now manage the United States national team.
During her time at Chelsea Women Hayes won the Super League seven times the FA Cup five times and the League Cup 2. She reached the Champions League final once.
