Chelsea parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino after just one season as announced on Tuesday night.
Under Todd Boehly the club is looking for a new manager. Sports directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart are leading the search and aim to appoint a new manager before June.
As reported by The Telegraph the search was narrowed to four candidates with Enzo Maresca with Kieran McKenna and Thomas Frank as the main contenders. There is also an unnamed candidate still standing.
Sebastian Hoeness and Michel were initially considered but were removed from the shortlist. Maresca who recently led Leicester City back to the Premier League has had a notable relationship with Chelsea captain Joe Shields since their time at Manchester City.
Despite the challenges at Stamford Bridge all selected candidates are reportedly interested in the position.
