The Times reports that Kieran McKenna will opt between Chelsea and Brighton with both clubs ready to meet his personal demands and agree a settlement with Ipswich.
The Seagulls are confident the 38-year-old will pick them over the Blues. They will begin formal negotiations with Ipswich soon.
Interestingly reports suggest that Chelsea are considering Roberto De Zerbi who left Amex by mutual consent at the end of the season. But it is not expected to continue with the Italians.
Chelsea sacked Mauricio Pochettino earlier this week but there has been no immediate replacement. They are now reportedly considering several options with McKenna as the leading candidate.
