According to The Standard Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe will be open to appointing Mauricio Pochettino as new manager if Erik ten Hag leaves.
Pochettino has just left Chelsea with a consensus after an overwhelming campaign that saw them finish sixth three points ahead of Man United.
Ratcliffe and his team are believed to value Pochettino skills as the club top manager and the Argentine has even been linked with a move to United ahead of Ten Hag appointment.
It did not work and he moved to Chelsea instead. However Poch is now free and Man United consider him an attractive option to occupy the ten hag.
After finishing eighth in the Premier League Ten Hag future remains uncertain. The Red Devils are now preparing to face Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
