Portuguese newspaper A Bola reports that Vitor Roque is set to join FC Porto on loan this summer.
Roque has not featured in Barca last five games and failed to add to the 310 minutes he filled when he made 62 appearances with Cadiz.
Last week Barca sporting director Deco made the decision to send Roque on loan at the end of the season.
Porto is now the most likely target for the 19-year-old with Barca set to use him to negotiate a move for Porto winger Pepe.
Roque has scored two goals in 13 appearances for Barca this season. Last season he scored 21 goals in 45 appearances for Athletico Paranaense despite an ankle injury that ruled him out for almost three months.
