Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp were involved in a non-feature clash in the second half against West Ham.
The exact reason behind the dispute is still unknown as both sides declined to comment after the match.
In August last year Liverpool rejected Al Ittihad 100 100million 50 100m bid for Salah. Athletic James Pearce reports that the reason behind the rejection was a lack of time to find a replacement.
FSG operates on a self-sustaining model that favors player transfers. Pearce writes that Liverpool would have been tempted to accept the bid if it had come earlier in the window.
With the Egyptian player under one year left on his contract the FSG will consider selling him this summer. However Salah could opt to stay at Anfield and leave the club without an agent in 2025 which could cost him a hefty transfer fee.
Pearce writes that much will depend on the 31-year-old and whether he wants to leave now or stay.
