Barcelona have decided to place a big bet on Pau Cubarsi with a huge contract set to secure his future until 2029.

Spanish newspaper Diario AS has leaked details of Barca contract for Cubarsi revealing that they are offering the  4million-a-year salary it does not stop there.

Cubarsi salary will not be limited to  4 million reports say he will only earn that amount next year. The defender income will increase every year until it reaches 12 million euros in his last year. The Spaniard will be 22 at the time.

In addition Barca will set a 1 billion buyout clause in Cubarsi. The club could reduce it to 500 million on request.

Cubarsi will sign the gigantic contract in January next year when he turns 18.

Cubarsi has been the revelation of the season for Barca with 15 teenagers starting to play where he almost put his foot down. That was enough to get him his first big set for Spain.
