Some Barcelona players should be particularly happy with Xavi decision to fulfill his current deal.

Gavi
The 19-year-old is said to be shocked by the idea of working under Xavi. Next season too. Because of his ingenuity and the amount of work done during the game Gavi was critical to Barca boss strategic plans.

Andreas Christensen
On several occasions Xavi has said he admires Dane ability to play defensively. If Barca end up signing without a natural option for the position the boss could stick with the 28-year-old as his first choice.

Fermin
The 20-year-old has been Xavi personal bettor since before the start of the season which seems to have paid off. The midfielder is a great influential team that has finally been promoted to the first team this season he will also be part of the team next season!

Sergi Roberto
The captain will stay at the club but Xavi return will make him even happier. The 32-year-old is said to be important to Barca locker room and he is always ready to step up if necessary.

Marc Guiu
Like Gavi the 18-year-old is reportedly happy with Xavi final decision. He believes he is good enough to compete with Vitor Roque who does not have much playing time under Barca.

Eric Garcia
Xavi did not want the center-back to leave last summer. He will be offered a first-team role next season although the club are expected to consider a bid for the 23-year-old.
