Enzo Fernandez has been out with a hamstring injury in recent months according to reports in Argentina. The World Cup winner took painkillers to keep up with Chelsea.
However the injury still plagued him forcing him to miss the game against Everton. The midfielder is considering surgery to make sure he is fit for the Copa America in June.
Under the knife will cut the 23-year-old out for three weeks. The final decision will be made together with Chelsea doctors before the FA Cup semi-final clash with Man City on April 20.
Enzo is one of the most deserving players on the team this season at least by Chelsea standards. He has featured in 38 of the 43 games the Blues have played this season.
