Arsenal fans were disappointed with Oleksandr Zinchenko performance in last weekend 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
Now according to The Athletic the Gunners are looking to sign a new left-back in the summer transfer window to add more depth to the position.
Mikel Arteta feels he needs a new left-back form in his squad to help Arsenal compete hard for next season big games although Takehiro Tomiyasu with Jakub Kiwior and Jurrien Timber could play there.
The Gunners have also yet to open contract talks with Zinchenko after his shaky 2023/24 season.
It remains to be seen whether the Ukrainian defender can play regularly for the Gunners in the final stages of the campaign after attracting criticism for his performances against Villa.
